David Adeleke, whose stage name is Davido, has revealed the main reason behind him by using ‘@davidoofficial’ as his former user name on the social media site, Instagram.
In a humorous post on his official Twitter account, he revealed that he had to beg the Brazilian user (whose name he left unannounced) of the Instagram app for ten good years to make the ‘@davido’ username accessible for his personal use as it should be.
With over 18M followers on Instagram, one would have assumed that the ‘official’ tag added to his stage name ‘davido’ was the first choice in accordance with other famous celebrities who use the tag as an add-on to their social media company.
